Wexford Developments operates at a scale most real estate companies only aspire to — 33+ completed projects, $1.3B in their development pipeline, and active builds across Calgary, Victoria, Kelowna, and the United States. Their old digital presence didn't reflect any of it. They needed a website that could hold the weight of that portfolio and communicate it clearly to investors, partners, and future communities.
The Challenge
Wexford's portfolio is complex — multi-family rentals, mixed-use developments, master-planned communities — spanning multiple asset classes and two countries. They needed a site that could organize this depth without overwhelming visitors, while also positioning the brand at the premium tier their projects command. The site needed to serve two distinct audiences simultaneously: sophisticated investors evaluating opportunities, and community stakeholders wanting to understand who Wexford is and what they stand for.
Our Approach
We chose Webflow for its ability to deliver a fully custom, high-performance frontend with a CMS powerful enough to manage a growing project portfolio without developer involvement. We built the site architecture around their two core content types — Projects and Team — and designed the CMS so Wexford's internal team could add new developments, update project status, and manage content independently from day one. Design direction leaned into the premium positioning: clean typographic hierarchy, cinematic project imagery, and a restrained colour palette that lets the photography lead. Every page was structured with both user experience and SEO in mind, from metadata to URL structure to page speed.
